Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is much more than just a smartphone manufacturer. The company has a growing ecosystem of mobile accessories, home entertainment, and healthy lifestyle gadgets, which include the likes of wearables, consumer products, and power banks among others.

Recently during the Diwali sale, the company announced that the Mi Band 2 and 10,000mAh Mi power banks were among the top sellers on Amazon India.

Quite Affordable

Now, the Chinese electronics giant has released the upgraded version of its popular 10,000mAh Mi power bank in the Indian market Priced at Rs. 1,999 the company launched the Mi Power Bank Pro in China earlier this year.

Although enlisted on mi.com, the power bank has not been set for sale from the manufacturer. Users can click on the Notify me option once the sale is set free.

Charging Technology Set to Change

The pro variant comes with an aluminum body along features like temperature, input overload, short circuit, output overcurrent, and reset protection. The highlight of the power bank is the micro USB cable that comes with a Type-C adapter for a wide range of charging options that support phones, tablets, notebooks based on the two-way fast charging technology.

The company claims that the Pro variant can be fully charged in just 3.5 hours compared to other power banks with same battery capacity that takes 6 hours.

With a single charge, the 10,000mAh battery on Mi Power Bank pro can fully power Mi Note for 2.5 times, iPhone 6 four times, and the iPad Mini 1.5 times.
