SanDisk today announced the Connect Wireless Stick which is a new wireless mobile flash drive in its product portfolio. This is a USB flash drive that doubles up as a Wi-Fi media server, and can let users to access files and data including photos and videos between multiple devices.
The Connect Wireless Stick flash drive has built in wireless capabilities that let users connect up to three devices at a time and can transfer or access files on these devices including mobile phones or laptops over Wi-Fi. It supports a SanDisk Connect app that allows one to access their content over a password protected Wi-Fi connection.
The device looks compact, like any other flash drive however has much more to offer in comparison. The device comes with built-in battery that can run for up to 4.5 hours.
The Connect Wireless Stick will be available in 16/ 32/ 64 and 128GB variants, with price starting from US $29.99, going up to $99.99, depending on the storage model. It, however, supports Android OS only. As for its availability, it will be available in the US for now and there is no information if it would be coming to other countries as well.
