Xiaomi has introduced new 20000mAh Mi power bank in China. Xiaomi has previously launched 5200mAh, 10400mAh and 16000mAh power banks.
The power bank has been designed by Texas Instruments with nine layers of circuit protection, similar to the other three power banks.
Unlike the older power banks from Xiaomi that have aluminium body, the Mi power bank comes with a ABS plastic body. This protects the power bank from scratches and lends it better grip when holding the power bank.
Despite its capacity, the Mi Power bank weighs 338 grams, about 350 grams lighter than the 16000mAh Mi power bank owing to the ABS plastic body.
It has a power button on the side, LED for indicating the battery level, micro USB slot for charging the power bank and two standard USB slots for output that lets you charge two devices simultaneously. It has a 5.1V / 3.6A output.
The 20000mAh Mi Power Bank is priced at 149 Chinese Yuan (or approximately Rs. 1554 / USD 23.5$) and goes for sale on November 11th through Mi.com. There have been no announcements of any global roll out as of yet.
Xiaomi has also introduced a new Mi Power Strip that has 5 power sockets. It is priced at 39 yuan (Rs. 405 / US$ 6 approx) and will be available through the Mi website from November 11th.
