Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean: HTC One Dual SIM Version Getting Update

Dual SIM version of HTC's flagship smartphone, which was launched in select markets including India, China and Russia is getting an android update. Surprisingly this happens to be the first version of the phone to get Android 4.2.2 update. However, HTC One Google edition comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean stright out of the box.

Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean: HTC One Dual SIM Version Getting Update

The update brings several new improvements including widget-enabled lockscreen, quick toggles for notifications, homescreen panes, battery percentage in the status bar, options for the Home button to remove the navigation menu bar Menu button, widget panel rearrangement.

The update bring changes camera app - AE/AF lock feature: lock exposure, focus at viewfinder screen. Also new Zoe features have been added for better file management. Moreover, 6 more themes have been added for video highlights. Music channel has been have been given seek, fast/back forward functions. Adding on to the list of improvements HTC Sence now supports Chinese dictionary.

Note: The update has a download size of 175MB and is only for the dual-SIM version of the phone. Also, the smartphone has not come to India yet.
