Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Factory Images Released for Nexus 7 3G 2012 and LTE 2013
Finally, Google has released the Lollipop factory image for the cellular variant of Nexus 7 tablet, which is based on the latest Android Lollipop update 5.0.2. It's a known fact that, the Wi-fi variant of Nexus 7(2013, 2012) got the Lollipop OTA updates and the factory images.
With this update, the Nexus 7 cellular variant, running on Android KitKat 4.4, will be updates to the latest Android Lollipop 5.0.2. This new updates comes with the build number LRX22G. This update readily focus on the performance of the device, apart from tune delivery, batching of alarms, storage, boot time and more.

Also there is no information available on the OTA, we can expect it soon in the upcoming days, as the factory images are being released.

Last month, Google released Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update last month with some bug fixes which was left out in Lollipop 5.0. Basically Android Lollipop 5.0 is a upgraded version of KitKat 4.4. This updates comes with new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI design, refreshing notification system. It allows the users to see the notification in the lock screen and heads up notification are displayed like banners on the top of the screen. Moreover, there is do-not-disturb feature also added in the notification bar.
This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by the apps.
