Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean: HTC One X to Receive Early Update This June or July

It was only recently, when Android smartphone king of 2012 - HTC One X received the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update. However, now it seems like that the Taiwanese giant is all in hurry to keep all its latest One series lineup updated with the times. Well, this can be said, as the reports are in that HTC One X will be getting the flavors of second update - Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, as early as June or July 2013.

Reportedly, the information has been leaked by Twitter user named @LlabToofer, who according to the website, is a trusted HTC leakster, familiar with the company's software update plans. He is the same person who claimed that the HTC One will be updated to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean soon.

If you are not aware, HTC One X which was originally powered by Google's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at the time of official announcement. However, now when update with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the smartphone will get all the features including Google Now function, new lock screen widgets, Quick Settings menu, a new keyboard that supports gesture typing, Photo Sphere camera features which allows users to take panoramic pictures, and more.

Along with the same, HTC One X will also get Sense 5 UI which will come with the likes of cutomized interface of Blinkfeed, Flipboard-style widget for stories, photos and social updates.

In the past, HTC also confirmed on its Facebook page that the HTC Sense 5 UI will be available to HTC's selective devices including the international variants of the HTC One X, One X+, One S, and HTC Butterfly.

Just to remind you, besides being an Android handset, HTC One X boasts some remarkable features like 1.5GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 4.7-inch second generation Super LCD HD display with 1280X720p resolution, micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, DLNA functionality, and more.
