The rumors about the IM coming to Windows Phone device have been making rounds since a couple of months but no signs of launch have been sighted until now. Moreover, BlackBerry is already in a terrible situation once again with the coming of the company's quarterly earnings report. But that was only the sad bit.

However, switching most of the windows Phone users into a jovial mood, the company shed some light on its BBM for Windows Phone devices. For the record, it was back in March when BlackBerry said that Windows Phone device would get the instant messaging service sometime between May and July. Now BlackBerry CEO Mr. Chen has confirmed that BBM will make that goal. Thus you can continue your wait happily.

The BBM app has been really popular among the Android users and it stands as a potential rival against the best of the Android IM Apps that are available in the market.
