Redmond giant, Microsoft has expanded its list of countries for its personal digital assistant Cortana. Initially, Cortana was launched last year to limited market. It has been launched as a key ingredient of Microsoft's planned "makeover" of the future operating systems for Windows Phone and Windows.
As per Engadgets, now Microsoft has expanded Cortana to some other countries as an optional download in Nihongo for Japan, in English for Australia, Canada and India. But it works best on the current Windows 10 Insider Preview build.
According to Gabe Aul, Insider program's spokesperson, Indian version of Cortana is not fully completed as, they working on improving its voice. After finishing India, the company is planning to launch to some more countries like Brazil, Mexico and Canada.
Recently, Microsoft has made Cortana available for the Android platform in the U.S market. In few month or days time we can expect the digital personal assistant over India also.
