According to Redmond giant Microsoft, now the voice assistant Cortana is officially going to be part of Windows 10 on the PC also. Cortana has undergone a major upgrade and is now made specifically for a full PC experience. During the Microsoft event, demo of the voice assistant Cortana was seen.
Cortana will be seen on the new search bar and the remodeled task bar. It has features which is easy and seamless access to files, settings, web and local search results and basically any other function of Windows 10. Microsoft also mentioned that, it will come with the soft female voice along with cracking jokes features, and moreover understanding seven new languages. Adding to that, Voice interaction and words triggering seems to be natural as well. Basically, it acts as a human-like assistant, than a virtual voice assistance.

Cortana is also added with a trick or two from Google Now and is now contextually aware of the search. Further, it will provide the right suggestions and notifications, during the process when you need them. Voice recognition is also improved a step forward in this version. Voice typing was showcased as coherent and almost usable on a daily base.
Cortana will be equipped into the new web browser, dubbed as "Spartan" to add intuitive and content-aware experience with link suggestion, info boxes and a lot more.
"Project Spartan is a new browsing experience tuned for being mobile and working across this family of devices," said Microsoft's Joe Belfiore.
