Evernote, via a blog post has announced that it has updated its app for iOS devices which include iPhone and iPad. The latest one which the company has released is the version 7.3.0 brings in the numerous customizable features to the app.
The company says that the updated version of the app is comparatively faster and easier to use, but it's also customizable. Among all, here are few features that you'll get to see in the new version.
Revamped Home Screen and Customizable Options are the first which wil come into users notice. The redesigned New Note buttons now sits at the top of the screen. They're big, clear and easy to tap. You can simpley to the Settings and customize the app.
You can now choose from three color themes: Light, Dark, and Classic. I'm partial to the light theme, which looks really great on my black iPhone.
Sections will show the sections you need, hide the ones you don't. You will also be able to rearrange them until everything is just right. It's easy to come back and change your selections at any time.
Moreover, you can also choose to display recently viewed items for your Notes, Notebooks, Shortcuts, and Tags sections. And if you're interested in keeping up with sync progress, or knowing how recently everything was synchronized, you can have the sync status displayed below the Settings gear.
You will also find a better business card scanning in this version of the Evernote, and now will allow scanned cards to be added directly to your phone contacts. The app will also fix and play audio files previously corrupted by this bug.
This update also makes the app much more faster and more responsive that previous versions and the bugs related to corrupting audio notes have been fixed.
