Google Gmail 4.7 Update For Android Brings Vacation Responder, Cloud Printing and More

Google has recently upgraded their Gmail app for Android users. The new Gmail 4.7 update enables users to download the Zip files from their Gmail. Other features include, Vacation Responders, enhanced attachment functionality, as well as the ability to print straight from your device.

Among the most of the new features the best one is the Vacation Responder. The feature is quite self-explanatory. However, this will allow users to set start and end dates along with a subject and text following which you can use the toggle to send your vacation response only to contacts. The vacation responder can also be completely disabled using a toggle.

The second new feature that is something which we have already seen in the Android 4.4 KitKat devices. The Gmail 4.7 update brings in the ability to print email messages via cloud printing. You can also select a single message or all messages in a thread to print.

The most useful feature among the lot which the update brings in the Gmail is the ability to download archive formats including zip, gzip, bzip2 and tar among others. The feature was requested to Google from a long time now, finally the company has enabled it.

Google is reportedly said to release the Gmail 4.7 update for Android devices soon within next few days.
