Last month Gizbot told you that Google posted a video on Youtube, which suggested that the Google Now is coming to iOS . The video was removed by the search giant quickly but Engadget did manage to capture the video and embed it in their own player. There were some doubts about whether the video was legit or not, but that can put aside now, as the service is made available with the new Google Search update version 3.0

Users will be able to launch Google now by a simple swipe up from the bottom of screen from within the search application. Now you can get to know the weather and traffic conditions before you start your day, get updates on your favorite sports teams and breaking news stories as they happen.

Navigation help, updates on flights, information on restaurant, movies and other by-attractions are just some of the things can get with Google now. You can download the latest version of Google Search for iOS from Apple iTunes Store for free.
