Microsoft To Launch “Snap Attack” Word Puzzle Game for Windows Phone Devices Today
If you are a word-based puzzle lover, and have a Windows Phone device, here is a great news for you. One of the most popular games called the "Snap Attack," which is a sequel to the highly addictive word puzzle game "Wordament" will be released today for Windows phone 8 and Windows phone 8.1 devices. Snap Attack will be available for free and will probably be ad-free.
At the moment the game is only going to be released for Windows Phone device but worry not Android and iOS fans, the app version for these two platforms are also due to be launched later this summer.

Built by Jason Cahill and John Thornton, Wordament is one of the most addictive word puzzle games on all three major platforms, Windows Phone, Android and iOS. It seems like Microsoft was so much impressed with the two developers that it brought them down and formed a bigger team to develop this sequel of Wordament that would be exclusively available only for Windows Phone device.

To talk about the new team and the new studio that Microsoft formed, it now consists of five employees, so Windows Phone users can expect much better games in future.
The Snap Attack is a very simple puzzle game where the players will have to form words in just two and a half minutes. At the end of each session, players are revealed some of the words they could have created with the given letters, as well as their scores on the leaderboards, like every other mobile gaming apps have.
Although the sequel version is much advanced, according to the online report, SnapAttack is based 80% on Wordament's code.
