Nimbuzz, Spectranet Now Offer International Calls at Just 1 paise Per Second
Nimbuzz, a cross platform instant messaging application, has recently introduced the international calling feature that allows you to make ISD calls for as low as 1 paise per second. In fact, Nimbuzz has collaborated with internet service provider Spectranet to bring us this service.
However, it should be noted that the calls can only be made from India to countries like the US, the UK, Saudi Arabia, France, Canada, Bahrain and Kuwait among others. It won't work the other way round. Also, call rates vary from country to country.
How is Nimbuzz different from Line and Viber?
Nimbuzz is a VoIP service which enables the app to make calls over the internet using 3G or 2G connections or Wi-Fi. And almost all use the same service. However, the difference is that the other VoIP apps can only make calls to devices with the same app. In Other words, both the caller and the receiver should have the particular application along with an active internet connection. Additionally, users can also make calls to landlines or mobile numbers using the app.
However, when it comes to recharging the Nimbuzz account, credit or debit cards can be used. The users can sign up for the service by creating an account through the official website or by downloading the application for your mobile or PC platform.
Nimbuzz CEO, Vikas Saxena reportedly said, "Hello IP will allow our Indian users to reach out to their loved ones across the world without cost concerns. It is a unique proposition that allows Nimbuzz users to make calls at rates almost 450 per cent less than that are available in the market today," .
"The service can be used across all data networks and Wi-Fi starting today. Nimbuzz and Spectranet hello ip have also set up 24x7 calling email support to assist users with their concerns around Spectranet hello ip powered by Nimbuzz," Spectranet hello ip CEO Udit Mehrotra said.
