It has been seven months since RIM's co-founder, Mike Lazaridis to bring Angry Birds to their PlayBook tablet. Now, the PlayBook has Angry Birds in it. The popular and widely played game, in which the birds attack and destroy the pigs who had stolen eggs with a slingshot.

This game is available on iOS and Android based devices since a long time. The absence of this game in the RIM tablet, PlayBook is the was a sad issue and was a failure to have the customer-friendly apps in it. The PlayBook is actually a device mainly focused on business and it powered by the QNX software.

This tablet from RIM got blistering reviews when it was launched way back in April 2011 but still less then a million units were sold but Apple iPad achieved more than 11 million units sales.

Angry Birds developer, Rovio says that this game has been downloaded over 600 million times despite its absence in the RIM's lineup of smartphones that use the old version of operating system.

The game is available for free in the Apple AppStore and Android Market for the respective devices but when it comes to the Blackberry app world, there are three versions of the game and all the three are available only for a price of $4.99.
