Apple Rolls-Out iOS 8.1.2 with Minor Bug Fixes

Apple released its iOS 8.1.2 Over-The-Air (OTA) update for the Apple users running iOS8. This update fixes all the bugs, which were faced by the users in iOS 8, making it the fifth update for the iOS users since the launch of iOS 8. Additionally, it also fixes the problem where ringtone purchased through the iTunes was removed.

For those users, who have lost their ringtone, can now go to itunes.com/restore-tones and follow the instruction accordingly. In the previous update which was rolled out in November, their were bug fixes and performance improvement for iPad 2 and iPhone 4.

This new update iOS 8.1.2 is available for all devices starting from iPhone 4S to iPhone 6 Plus, the 5th gen iPod touch and iPads excluding first generation. The new update is 28.2MB in size and comes with a build number 12B440.

You can install the iOS 8.1.2 by following the below instructions
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Select General
Step 3: Go to Software Update and install

Another way to access it is by connecting your device to Laptop or PC via iTunes.

As expected, iOS 8.1.2 doesn't carry any major updates like improvements in map, split screen multitasking for iPad, while report says Apple is working on iOS 8.2 with WatchKit SDK, which was pushed out to developers mid-November.
