Evernote 5 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch Coming Very Soon

Evernote team had recently released a preview of Evernote 5 for Mac. Now they have arrived with a teaser video for the new Evernote 5 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. According to the company this new app will also work smoothly with iPad Mini too.

In the official blog post, the Evernote team explained that over the years they have learned how different users use Evernote on their mobile devices. Most users are looking for speed in an app like Evernote. Speed needs to be there when a user is creating a note or browsing to a new one. They added that most users want the app to easily support the preferred organization scheme.

When it comes to tagging, tags must be front and center. Even if users are placing everything on notebooks, quick accessibility will be a main criterion for users. The functionalities should be one or two taps away. All of these requirements went into consideration while developing the new Evernote 5 for iOS devices.

The app as per the Evernote team has been completely redesigned to meet different needs of users. Views for Notebooks, Notes, Tags and placed has been introduced in the new app. The developer team has also added Quick Note buttons to let users easily create a note with a single click. A Recent Notes list has been added on the iPad to make multi-tasking easier.

The revised homescreen allows users to quickly jump to content in their Evernote account. Browsing, searching and organizing are easier than ever before. Users can simply tap or slide a header for expanding a view. Users can simply return to the home screen by sliding the header or by tapping on the Evernote icon.

The app will be released to the public quite soon. However the exact date for the release has not been mentioned by the Evernote team. The teaser video can be viewed from here.
