In a recent update, Google has officially announced the Google Flight feature that will soon let the travelers know the surge price time and rate of a selected flight.
Reportedly, this new update will be flashed on Google Flight users' window in the form of a card that will say how much the cost will go up and in how many days while showing the lowest price for the day.
This way, Google is expecting to help travelers plan their trips in a better and easier way. The company will also help them find good hotel deals making travel planning easier on mobile.
Not only this, this Google update will offer a notification bar with multiple tips such as recommendations for alternate airports or dates, especially for flights that the travelers have not selected. The update is expected to be rolled out officially over the coming weeks for all users.
Currently, Google Flight is offering the email notification option that will send you an automated email to keep you informed about the prices on your specified route for mentioned dates.
Apart from flights, Google Flight is also on its toes to release a similar update on hotel searches known as 'deals'. Specifically for hotels section, whenever a user will search for hotels in a particular location, Google will show all the available hotel deals. It will also reflect when a hotel's price is lower than usual compared to historical pricing or if there are discounts.
Google will also notify the traveler when savings are available to loyalty members on a hotel's website.
