Narendra Modi Apps Get More Searches and Downloads on App Stores [Demonetisation Effect]

Soon after the decision to demonetize the high currency notes, app developers came up this new app called "Modi keynote" that allowed users to watch Narendra Modi's black money speech on the newly introduced Rs. 500 and Rs. 2,000 currency notes.

Flooding the entire social media, Modi Keynote app pictures got bombarded, showing Narendra Modi's speech video playing on the new notes. PM Modi has not only been hitting headlines, by ruling over Google Play as well as Apple App Store recently.

If you visit Google Play or Apple App Store, you can see out of top 6 trending free apps, Narendra Modi related apps have occupied 3 positions, whereas the other 3 are WhatsApp, Facebook, and MyJio app. Well, the case is a little different in case of App Store, where Narendra Modi related apps has been occupying all the top 10 positions.

The official Narendra Modi app has started trending soon after PMO asked the public to give their views on demonetisation via the app. Well, along with just trending, the official Narendra Modi app has also been among the most downloaded apps on both App Store and Google Play.

It's just a day back that PM Modi has asked the public to share their opinion on demonetization, on whether they support the move or not. Modi had announced that he requires the people to provide him with "first-hand view" on the ban of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 notes via the official Narendra Modi app.

It is right after the his announcement that people started to searching for Narendra Modi's app on App and Play Store, making the Modi related apps the most trending ones.

Along with the announcement, Modi apps have been the most trending ones, also due to demand for duplicates of the Modi Keynote app, in order to watch Modi's speech on the new currency notes.
