Indian parents can now have control over their child's activities on YouTube. Here's how you can build a kid-friendly YouTube experience.
Yes, Indian parents can now control on what their children watch on YouTube with Google's newly launched app namely YouTube Kids that aims to curated videos before the children could watch it.
YouTube Kids is a standalone, family-friendly app that works towards making it easier for children find related videos on a particular topic, and keep them away from the age-restricted videos.

The app offers safe and curated videos for children and will be available for both iOS and Android users, where they can easily browse for videos like the Little Krishna, or any other kids related cartoons, videos and more, including children web series.

Here's all that parents can do with the YouTube Kids app in order to keep their children from age restricted and making it easy for them to watch only kid-related videos.
The app allows the parents to use the Automated Prompt option, which will enable them to manage what their children search on YouTube and how broadly their child can explore the videos. The user can simply turn ON the search engine access to "millions of family-friendly videos" or turn OFF search to restrict their child's search limit. Toggle ON the Timer option and a child can watch videos or play around on YouTube only for a particular set time frame, and doesn't involve in watching videos all day long with the help of this setting. It often happens that children based videos are annoying, especially with the weird sounds that it produces. Well with YouTube Kids, parents can turn OFF the background music or sound effects of the video that the child is watching, which will allow them to concentrate on their work, along with their kid being involved in an interesting activity. Yes, parents can now set their own passcode in order to restrict certain content on YouTube.
