FIFA World Cup 2014 Styled Sony Xperia Theme Shows Up Online

Are you all psyched about the greatest show on the planet, dubbed the 2014 FIFA World Cup, that's arriving in the next few days? Well, there are chances that you are. But if you own a Sony Xperia handset, that excitement could easily go a notch up.

According to reports, Sony is shortly expected to release a FIFA Brazil World Cup 2014 Xperia-styled theme to celebrate the beautiful game that's going back to its roots in Brazil.

More information related to the same can be gathered if you bought a new Sony Xperia phone within the last nine months or so, and noticed the "FIFA World Cup Brasil" logo on the corner of the packaging. This is obvioulsy because Sony is one of the main sponsors of this summer's football extravaganza.

While an official link to the theme is yet to pop up on Google's Play Store, the APK file for the same has already been made available to download and run on all the supported devices.

Going by the image of the theme, this new World Cup-based Xperia theme carries the FIFA World Cup outlook with yellow and green color, which represent Brazil.

And if you remember correctly, the main color of the theme UI is similar to the one we saw in various other FIFA World Cup styled accessories from Sony -- like the FIFA edition SBH20 Bluetooth headset and SRS-BTV5 wireless speakers FIFA edition.

The theme, according to the Xperia Guide, "carries Brasil World Cup home screen and lock screen wallpapers, football ground style UI in app drawer with football icon as menu icon and celebration style background as themed UI."

Also, there is a green and yellow color status bar which can be seen in different window panes of phone.
