Chrome remote desktop app which was released for Android last April, is now out for the iOS platform. Now, the PC, Mac can be accessed by iOS devices. Basically, Chrome Remote Desktop allows you to remotely access one computer from another over the Internet.

If you have an Android device, the Chrome Remote Desktop app will allow you to access the PC by using your Android powered devices such as smartphones and tablet. For iOS devices, download and install the Chrome Remote Desktop app.

After downloading the app, install the Chrome Remote Desktop browser extension from the Chrome Web Store in your Mac or PC. Follow the procedures mentioned in that, after the setup process is complete, the app works with any of the user's online computers who have Chrome extensions.

Chrome Remote Desktop supports remote assistance on PCs running Windows and Linux, while secure file access is reserved for Windows XP and above and OS X 10.6 and above.
