iPhone 5 to Land in India on November 2: First 10 Apps You Should Download When You Get the New iPhone
Apple's sixth generation iPhone 5, the much-awaited smartphone in India has been declared by the Cupertino-based tech giant to be available in retail stores starting November 2.
Reportedly, Apple India spokesperson said distributors Ingram Micro and Redington India will start supplying iPhone 5 from November 2 to retailers. Ingram Micro and Redington India are authorised distributors of Apple products in India.
According to reports, Ingram Micro in a statement said "it will offer iPhone 5 at leading modern trade stores and retail outlets across India beginning Friday, November 2". Further, the Ingram Micro spokesperson also disclosed that iPhone 5 will be launched in 40 cities in India.
While the MRP of the new iPhone 5 for Indian market has not been disclosed by neither Apple nor Ingram Micro, however, the iPhone 5 is available for pre-order on the online retailer Saholic starting at Rs 45,500 for the 16GB model. Also, the handset is available for booking on Tradus and Naaptol through goProbo.com at price range of approximately Rs 58,900 and Rs 61,199 respectively. Also,the handset is available on Infibeam for pre-order for an advance price of Rs 5,000.
