Karbonn Smart A12 Unleashed For Rs 7990 With Broadcom Chip Inside

The Delhi based tech vendor, has been on an upswing since the announcement of Karbonn Titanium S5: a mighty successor to S1. The handset was officially launched few days ago with much fan fare. Priced at Rs. 11,299, it can be looked out as a viable competitor to Micromax Canvas HD, which has been invisible since its announcement. Now the folks over at Karbonn have come up with an affordable Android 4.0 ICS handset known by the name of ‘Smart’ A12.

The Karbonn Smart A12, which will go on sale for Rs. 7990, is powered by Broadcom’s 1-GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 4.5-inch qHD display, 5-mega pixel rear camera, VGA quality front facing camera, 4GB of internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB via microSD card, Dual SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, and 1,800mAh battery under its hood. Obviously, going by the specifications, the device is a low end Android handset. Available in two colours: Black and White, the handset is sober, and mesmerizing in nature. The device will come preloaded with following apps: Saavn music, Gmail, Google Play Store, Facebook, Youtube, and Google messenger among others.

Karbonn mobiles has also come up with 3G Voice calling tablet called TA-Fone A37, which is set to play against likes of Micromax and Lava . The device has been priced at Rs. 9,500 in the Indian tablet market.
