Microsoft Launches App to Sync Windows 8 Desktops and Smartphones Ahead of WP8 Event

With only a few hours left for the launch of the Windows Phone 8 OS, Microsoft has released an application that can sync the Windows Phone 8 handsets with the Windows 8 and Windows RT devices.

According to a recent report by The Verge has spotted an application on the Windows Store, which will allow WP8 users to sync content with a Windows 8 PC. The report points out that this app does not work with Windows Phone 7 handsets.

With this app, the Windows 8 based computer and WP8 based handset can work together and let consumers share multimedia content including photos, videos, music and more.

Talking about the features of this app, it syncs music, photos and videos from the computer to phone and vice versa, quickly share content between devices without event opening the app, automatically save photos and videos captured with the smartphone to PC, have a look at the file size of each content type before creating and more.

In the Windows Store listing, the app is listed as a tool and lists the system requirements or supported processors as x86, x64 and ARM.
