Flickr has now updated its iOS app with a number of new features including support for 3D Touch. Update of the Yahoo made app was awaited for quite a long time.

From now you can simply preview photos, people, notifications and more with a light press of the screen. Furthermore in your Flickr Camera Roll you can no find out your best shot easily by using the newly introduced 3D Touch feature. The gesture allow you to preview a photo by a light press and then scroll between multiple one by moving your finger from left to right. Once done, you have to press harder to open your selected photo in full screen.

The ‘Quick Actions' feature further lets you do things you do most offer, faster and in fewer steps. In fact the feature allow iPhone 6S/6S Plus users to lightly press on the Flickr App, on which he is show a slew of options including upload photo, skip directly to notifications or the feed or to kick off a search right from your home screen.

Additionally the Flickr App is now deeply integrated into the Spotlight Search of iOS 9. In fact you can now search for albums, groups or recently-viewed photos without even opening the app. There's also a new feature called Universal Links which allow users to open Flickr links directly in the app in place of a tab in the Safari browser.
