Here's How you can Subscribe to Apple Music at Rs. 60 per Month
As of now, the Indian students can avail the subscription plan for Apple Music at a discounted rate of Rs. 60 per month.
Apple had first introduced their music service back in July 2015 which was available only in seven countries.
However, there's good news for students ahead of Christmas! Apple has now extended the University Subscription Plan for Apple Music to India along with 24 other countries which are Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Chile, Colombia, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.

While the individual subscription plan for Apple Music in India is currently fixed at Rs 120 per month but with the new Student Subscription Plan, students can avail it for Rs 60 per month. I must say it is a great deal as the subscription costs even less than a US dollar per month.
On the contrary, the monthly subscription fee is $4.99 per month (approximately Rs 340) in the U.S.
Comparing it to the Rs 120 individual subscription plan, the student plan is a straight 50 percent discount in India.
Apart from the individual plan, Apple is also offering a Family Subscription Plan priced at Rs 190 per month which can be shared with six people. But there is no discount in this.

So, if you want to subscribe to the University student plan, you just have to lo-gin to Apple Music and choose the student plan from the options. After choosing the plan, you will be led to an eligibility verification page where you will have to ensure that you are a student.
As such, you will have to enter your email address and the name of the school/university in order to get verified. Once done, the discounted subscription plan for that student is activated.

To make it comprehensive, Apple has partnered with UNiDAYS to verify the eligibility of the user. UNiDAYS will be monitoring the status of that student and after 48 months, the University Subscription Plan will be automatically discontinued.
Nonetheless, Apple Music is one of the best options for users and they can find all kinds of music there. Users can also access the entire catalog of iTunes and download many songs for some premium amount.
