OnePlus 'Reflexion' photography app for Android and iOS platforms released
OnePlus made an entry to the smartphone market with the launch of its ‘flagship killer' device called the OnePlus 1, last year. The smartphone created ripples in many markets due to its high-end features and specifications, at a lower price point. After the success of its first smartphone, the company came up with the second gen model of the phone a few months back, and released its much rumored mid-range smartphone called the OnePlus X just a day back. Now it seems to expand its reach as it has now released an app called Reflexion. The app is available on both Android as well as iOS platforms.
This is a photography based app that allows users to capture two shots - one from the rear camera and another from front-facing camera - and stitch them together in to an interesting reflection-based pattern. The app seems to have a simple interface, and features social sharing options to easily share the results with others.
Well, the company could have launched this app as a part of the phone's camera feature, but chose to release it as a standalone app. Good part is that the OnePlus Reflexion app cross-platform, which means it is not just restricted to OnePlus users and will work on all devices running on iOS or Android. Moreover, it is free to download.
The app is mainly targeted at the photography enthusiasts who like sharing their photos on social networking sites. The app is easy to use and allows users to form an interesting photo collage in an X pattern. One can drag photos into the frame to make creative compositions.
