PayUbiz launches ‘One Tap’ Mobile Payment technology to Fasten Payments on merchant sites
PayUbiz has now launched a new Mobile Payment System dubbed the 'One Tap' for merchants in India. In short the new technology eases out mobile payment by making payments through debits cards and credit cards happen with just a tap of the screen.
The 'One Tap' technology frees users from the hassle of typing their Card Number, CVV and OTP multiple times during payment. However it's worth noting that the PayUbiz's new technology doesn't bypass the Two Factor Authentication System. Hence don't think that it will be affecting the security of your account.

On the contrary the First Factor Authentication of inputting the CVV manually each time has been replaced in favour of a No-CVV feature whereas the Second Factor Authorization using OTP gets read and submitted in the process. This mean that from now when you make a payment on a merchant's Android App using a Stored Card it won't ask you for any details.
Furthermore PayUbiz has also introduced a new feature called the 'Magic Retry' which allows the app to pick up the transaction from the point where it was stopped and automatically repeats the whole process.
According to the official statement PayUbiz has filed a patent for its PCI-DSS compliant 'One Tap' technology which is a combination of 4 different tech innovations that together provide a seamless online payments experience to the users.

Elaborating on the feature, Mr. Rahul Kothari, Business Head, PayUbiz commented, "We are absolutely delighted to be the first to introduce One Tap technology. This is set to disrupt the way mobile payments are made in India. With this technology, ecommerce companies will be able to deliver absolute customer delight through faster and hassle free payments experience with just one tap. This is one in series of innovations we are going to deliver that will change the way consumers make payments online. Consumers can presently experience this technology on apps such as PayUmoney and Twigly. We are working with other partner ecommerce companies to get this live as soon as possible on their platforms. Some of the other apps where users will experience it in next few weeks are Peppertap, Redbus, Goibibo, Grofers, Big basket, Just dial, xiaomi, Musafir and nearbuy."
