Windows Blue Build 9364 Leaked: Featuring Enhanced User Interface, IE 11 and More

Gizbot, earlier reported about software giant Microsoft coming up with the successor for its latest operating system Windows 8. Well, in a more recent news, screenshots of the early builds 9364 of the new update have been leaked.

The leaked screenshots posted by Winforum show that the new update will bring with it, both larger and smaller tile sets to the start screen and increased user control over color personalization. The update will also bring additional Snap Views, to let users place apps, side by side in a 50-50 arrangement. The alarm, calculator and sound recorder apps will take advantage of the new views. Also, SkyDrive to come with better integration with auto camera uploads and control over files and device back ups.

The new update is said to introduce a number of new options in the Windows 8-style settings screen. Microsoft will also be adding additional settings to allow tablet users to manage options, without having to use the desktop control panel, to do so. Also, Windows Blue is also said to come with new gesture options for touch users.

Apart from the UI changes, the charms feature has also been updated with Windows blue. The share charm is said to come with a new screenshot option that lets users to quickly share an image with applications. Also, there is news that Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) will be included with Windows Blue.

CNET reports that Windows Blue will ship with the Haswell chip-based Ultrabooks. Haswell is the next-generation of power-efficient processor by Intel.
