Amazon has announced the release of Amazon Instant Video apps for Nintendo Wii U device. The new addition will pave way for Wii U having access to Amazon’s library of 1,40,000 TV Episodes and movies.
Over 30,000 of the among the 1,40,000 TV Episodes and movies in the database of Amazon will be available for unlimited streaming for prime users. All those episodes can either be browsed or watched by users from either the Wii U gamepad or TV screen. Nintendo has ensured about it to have fulfilled the promise of the video streaming services it announced before the release of Wii U in to the market.
Other video subscription services that have been announced include Netflix and Hulu Plus. However in another major development, YouTube has also announced its availability in Nintendo Wii U. This will bring the huge database of YouTube videos and channels to the living room and Wii U gamepad.
