The popular Indian cricketer and Arjuna award recipient Yuvraj Singh fought cancer with utmost determination and survived. Soon after the recovery, Yuvi shifted his focus on Cancer awareness, utilizing his popularity to educate people regarding cancer, its detection and recovery. 

Yuvi's initiative YouWeCan Fight Cancer has received tremendous support from all walks of life and now an app has been launched in association with Microsoft for extending the reach of the service. 

The YouWeCan app is exclusive for Windows based phones and is free to try. Although there is a paid version which costs around Rs 565 which gives opportunity for users to directly contribute to the cause. One cancer detection checkup costs the same amount. 

A major portion of the money generated through the sales of the app will go to the Yuvraj Singh Foundation and will support the foundation in its anti-cancer drive. If you want to further contribute to the cause, you can purchase T-shirts, Caps and Ribbons using the app. 

YouWeCan app puts the spotlight on Yuvi’s journey right from him childhood through his cricketing career including the golden moment of winning the man of the tournament in the last World Cup. The app features exclusive photos and content along with key facts on various types of cancer, benefits of early detection, treatment etc.

The app also runs a weekly YouWeCan contest and provides winners with unique YouWeCan memorabilia. The photo of the winner will also feature in the cover page of the app.
