The Stylus Tough TG-870 is a premium rugged camera built to capture high-quality photos and video in the most challenging situations. This compact camera is packed with features, including a ultra wide-angle 21mm lens with 5x optical zoom, allowing users the ability to effortlessly frame everything from dramatic landscapes to group shots.
It sports a high-resolution 180-degree tilting LCD monitor, customizable front buttons, Sportcam Mode with full HD video recording, built-in Wi-Fi, next-generation GPS and more.
As the name suggest, the camera is waterproof to depths of 50 feet, freezproof upto -10 degree Celsius, shockproof from 7 feet, crushproof to 220 pounds of force and dustproof as well.
It comes with 21mm - 105mm f3.5 zoom lens, which is the widest lens in the rugged compact category. The lens makes it perfect for ultra-wide group selfie shots. It is powered by TruePic VII image processor, and is paired with 16.0 megapixel backlit CMOS sensor to capture clear images with sharp details and true-to-life color, even underwater.
The camera is compatible with Olympus Image Share app available on iOS and Android smartphones. The app allows user to transfer images and movie to directly uploading to websites and social media. User can also control the camera remotely by touching the smart device display as if it were the camera itself.
