Nikon brings in 3 new DSLR cameras in India
Nikon has recently announced three new camera models in India. The newly launched cameras include Nikons flag ship model D4 too. Along with it the other models that are introduced are Nikon D800 and D800E.
The DSLR camera market in India is booming. The sales figures are at an ever time high. Nikon is all set to make use of this opportunity to introduce their cameras. DSLR cameras despite of being a bit bulky, offers good image quality than most other cameras in the market. This is why they are preferred by professional photographers and budding talents as well.
Nikon D4 belongs to the series of FX-format cameras. D4 has a 16.2 mega pixel FX CMOS sensor. This high resolution image sensor is backed up by EXPEED 3 image processing unit. The result is professional quality images with the best colour reproduction. Nikon’s 51 point auto focus system is already a preferred choice for the professionals. This system has been given some improvements and now it has superior auto focussing speeds.
This has increased the overall performance of the device and now the users can take pictures at rates of up to 10 frames per second. The 91,000-pixel 3D colour matrix meter and the ISO range of 100 to 2,04,800 allow the user to take good quality photographs irrespective of the lighting conditions. So even if the lighting is very poor the high ISO will ensure that the image is captured with top most quality.
D800 is a camera which comes with dramatically high resolution of 36.3 million pixels. This camera too sports the EXPEED 3 image processing engine along with the FX CMOS sensor. This camera comes with 91 K pixel RGB sensor and it is provided with the latest of scene recognition technology. The camera has many more features that are enough to satisfy all the needs of a hardcore photographer.
If you are still looking for more than a variant of the D800 is available that is termed as D800 E. This camera is especially designed for professional studio photography as well as for landscape photography.
These ranges of cameras are not cheap and would cost a fortune to buy one. But if you are very serious about photography then don’t think further than these devices. Nikon D4 comes with a price tag of about Rs. 3,25,000/-. D800 comes at a price of Rs. 1,50,000/- and D800 E at Rs. 1,65,000/-.
