Pentax has released Pentax Q10 mirror less camera at an affordable price tag of $599.95(approximately Rs. 34,000). The company expects that this model would help to revive its sales fortunes which were hit as their earlier model Pentax Q failed to make an impression.
Pentax Q however was priced at $800 (approximately Rs.45,000). The latest Pentax Q10 has enhanced features including a firm grip and is available in red color option. Kit Lens is also included in Pentax Q10.
Users would prefer Pentax Q10 to Pentax Q since it has quite similar features compared to the other one and that too at a reduced price.
The next in line from Pentax is K-5 II flagship DSLR camera. It will be an update to the existing version of K-5 flagship DSLR camera. Users can expect a host of new features with this new DSLR camera. The pricing is slated at $1,195 (approximately Rs. 67,000).
Some of the features to be included in K-5 II flagship DSLR camera include;
- A new autofocus system
- Air gap-free LCD
The company is also planning to release a special edition K-5 II model designed to provide enhanced resolution even in controlled environments. This is made possible by means of producing anti-aliasing filter. The company has announced that both Pentax Q10 and Pentax K-5 II will be available from the month of October. Users can also get a bundled combo of Pentax K-5 II and Q10.
