Samsung Next Gen Galaxy Camera EK-GN120 Will Let You Make Uninterrupted Calls
The instant success of Samsung Galaxy S -series, in particular, has marked the entry of connected cameras. These days a normal point & shoot camera comes with Wi-Fi like options, and connectivity with major social networking sites. One name that is synonymous with mature design- it's have to be Samsung's very own Galaxy camera.
The current generation of Galaxy camera comes into two variants: a 3G supported model and recently announced - Wi-Fi only model. Now new reports have surfaced (via Bluetooth.org), which states that Samsung is planning to announce next-gen Galaxy camera with built in mobile phone. Unfortunately, the technical aspects of the device are missing. The model no (EK-GN120), is expected to roll out in the coming months. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy camera could end up being a proper cellular device with 3G voice calling, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi functionality. Wait for IFA 2013 tech show to know more about the mysterious device.

The Samsung Galaxy camera comes fitted with a 4.8-inch HD display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, Samsung UI layer, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. It boasts of a 16.3-mega pixel BSI CMOS sensor, quad-core processor, Wi-Fi, 3G, expandable memory up to 64GB via microSD card, 21X optical zoom and 1,650mAh battery inside. Asking price - Rs.26, 000
Last year, Nikon announced its first Android camera in the Indian market. The coolpix S800c was launched with a 16MP camera sensor, Wi-Fi, Android 2.3 OS, and a 3.5-inch display, and 4GB of internal memory. This budget priced smart camera, is way below what Samsung is charging for GC100. But Samsung has given better specs and thrown Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Asking price - Rs. 20,950.
