A premium Windows 7 tablet X11 from Kupa
Kupa has brought in another good tablet, X11 Lux which is claimed to be the company’s most premium model. This new tablet comes loaded with Windows 7 operating system. It sounded little odd as this model is launched at a time when the other PC manufacturers are busy planning for Windows 8 based models.
Long battery life is one of the notable features highlighted about this tablet compared to other Windows tablets including that of Samsung. It has a good battery life that last up to 7 hours 32 minutes.
Built-in fingerprint reader and also TPM make it as business friendly model as well. These features beef up security in this device, quite apt for business users. The other best spec with this tablet is the precise smooth pen input. This pressure sensitive pen helps you to draw thinner or thicker lines according your need. We will discuss some more features in the below sections which are good from a business use point of view.
The tablet’s physical dimension is 10.7 x 7.3 x 0.6 inches and it weighs 2.2 pounds. This Kupa tablet is about 0.5 inches thicker and also 0.4 pounds heavier compared to Samsung Series 7 Slate. Its design is not that comfortable for all users as it is hefty and has a plastic build. This tablet features a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution which is pretty good. But what goes against this display is the glass surface which leads to vague images due to reflections and glare.
The processing side of this Kupa tablet is driven by Intel Oak Trail processor which delivers ample efficiency to perform daily tasks. The tablet has a 128GB of solid-state storage also. Graphics part is also reasonable as it is managed by Intel GMA 600 graphics.
Camera options with this Kupa tablet include 3MP rear camera for capturing your favorite shots and also 2-MP front end camera that supports video chatting. You can see several connectivity options with this tablet including USB 2.0 ports, headset jack, mini-HDMI port and also a power input.
Kupa X11 Lux supports a SIM Card slot which enables 3G connectivity. You can also see a lot of pre installed programs like Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft OneNote, Daum PotPlayer etc. Unlike other tablets that provide trailer versions of software, this Kupa tablet offers original software including Microsoft Security Essentials.
Kupa X11 Lux can be purchased at a price of more than Rs.50,000/-.
