Tablets are having high demands in the market no matter what brands they belong to. It isn't that brand is not vital, but feature rich and well designed tablets have their own market in the business. Realizing this fact, the manufacturers of high end tablets all over the world are in constant research to introduce innovative designs and features in their new tablet pcs. One such new concept now added on with the tablets is the slider design. Slider design tablets are now having more demands. Asus has experimented this on a couple of tablets and each time they could impress every one with their stylish tablets.

The newly designed slider tab from Asus is called ASUS EEE Pad Slider SL101. Another tablet introduced with some awesome features is Acer Iconia A101.

Acer Iconia comes to its customers with a LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. The pixel support is 600 X 1024 with a 7 inch screen size. Acer Iconia A101 has a very attractive sleek design. The tablet screen is an LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16 M colors. The accelerometer in the new tablet pc will enable the auto rotate in the tablet. This will cause the screen to adopt landscape mode when the tab is rotated likewise. The tab has a HDMI port with which the tablet can be connected to a projector, TV or similar bigger size device.

Acer Iconia A101 has in it a camera of 5MP. The 2592 X 1944 pixel camera will feature an autofocus and a LED flash in it. Asus EEE Slider has a similar image capturing facility with a 5MP camera and a LED and autofocus. In addition to this, the tab offers a secondary camera of 2 mega pixel resolution located in the front. This can be used for quality video chats in the device.

Acer Iconia A101 has practically unlimited entry storage. It has 8 GB internal memory storage. The memory storage in the device can be expanded externally to a 32 GB by using a microSD card. The data handling utilities in the tab includes a WiFi and Bluetooth devices. The USB in the latest tablet is a version 2.0. ASUS EEE Pad Slider has a similar configuration with an equally rated Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. The GPRS, EDGE facility, HSUPA etc is also present in both the devices.

The price for Acer Iconia A101 is around Rs 25000 in India. Asus Eee Pad Slider SL 101 with 16 GB would cost about Rs 18420 and for 32 GB, it will be around Rs 24000.
