Acer Iconia Tab A220 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Tablet Leaks in Benchmarks Revealing Quad Core Processor
Acer seems to be working on a new tablet, which is speculated to be the successor of Iconia Tab A210. The device was spotted in the database of GL Benchmark and appeared with the model name A220.
Unfortunately, there are no photos of the device and hence, there is nothing known about the looks of the tablet. However, with a little information that has been leaked, a few hardware and software specs of the upcoming device are revealed.
According to a recent TechKiddy report, the leaked GL Benchmarks of a device named Iconia Tab A220, is powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 chip by NVIDIA with 1.3GHz speed, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS and an unknown screen size of 1280 x 752 pixel resolution. Further, analysts assume that it could have a 10.1 inch display as in its predecessor Iconia Tab A210.
Though there are no details on the pricing and availability of the tablet, judging by the specs, it is assumed by tech experts to be a reasonably priced 10 inch Android tablet offering from Acer. Moreover, there are speculations that Acer might launch the device ahead of the holiday shopping spree.
