Acer Iconia Tablet And Asus EE Pad Tablet Head To Head Comparison
To an extent both Acer Iconia Tablet and the Asus EE Pad Tablet are similar; it is quite difficult to compare these two new tablet pcs.
If we talk about the design of the tablets, the dimension of the Asus EE Pad is 10.7 inches in height, 6.7 inches width and 0.5 inches thickness compared to Acer Iconia Tablet which is designed with 10.1 inches in height, 7 inches in width and 0.54 inches in thickness. The display of both Acer Iconia and the Asus EE Pad is touch screen with 10.1 inches, 1280 x 800 resolution and TFT touch screens.
These new tablet pcs run on android honeycomb operating system with processor type Nvidia Tegra 2 and 1 GB RAM, which provides processor speed up to 1 GHz. When compared to Acer Iconia tablet, the Asus Eee Pad has an installed storage capacity of 16 GB. Asus Eee Pad also has a difference compared to other tablets because it comes with two variants, one with internal storage capacity of 16 GB and the other one with installed memory storage up to 32 GB. Both the tablets has expandable memory storage slot which supports microSD expandable memory cards. There is an additional port which supports HDMI.
The tablets also include camera facility of 5 mega pixel. The 5 mega pixel rear camera provides rich color pictures for the users to make their memories sweeter. The people concerned about video chatting and video conferencing need not get worried, both the tablets include front cameras. The Acer Iconia Tablet will provide a high clarity video chatting experience with 2 mega pixel front camera.
The Asus EE Pad Tablet lags behind in the camera feature when compared to the Acer Iconia Tablet, because the front camera of the Asus EE Pad is only of 1.2 mega pixel.
The battery of both tablets is very efficient; battery installed in the Asus EE Pad has battery capacity of 24.4 watt-hours and can provide 15 hour video recording capacity. The battery in Acer Iconia only provides battery capacity of 24.1 watt-hour.
The most exciting and interesting thing about these tablets apart from all the features is the price of the tablets. Asus EE Pad with 16 GB internal storage capacity is available in the market at a price of Rs. 18,354 and the one with 32 GB storage capacity is available at a price of Rs. 22,954.
The price of Acer Iconia is much costlier than the Asus EE Pad Tablet; as it comes at a price of around Rs. 25,000.
