Acer launches Iconia Tab A110 with Nvidia Tegra 3 with Android ICS

Acer Iconia Tab A110 is one of the new models launched by Acer under its popular Iconia brand line. It runs on NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and has standard specs, design and also useful multimedia options. Its overall appearance makes it a handy tablet that can fit in jacket pockets. 

Acer Iconia Tab A110 measures 193 x 126.5 x 11.4 millimetres and weighs 370 grams with battery included. It has a display screen size of 7.00 inches with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. The capacitive, multi-touch display gives comfort to users while working on the same. There are light sensor and proximity sensor options too. 

Acer Iconia Tab A110 has pretty impressive multimedia features. It has a front facing camera of 2 megapixels resolution, which can enable Video calling. You can enjoy listening to audio files in multiple formats as well as sort them Album, Artist and Playlists. Stereo speakers provide the needed audio effects. 

Built-in YouTube player is yet another notable element in the multimedia spec of this tablet. Users don’t need to download anything to watch live videos on YouTube. Similarly, other online services like Facebook and Twitter are also supported in this Iconia tablet model. This will make it attractive to the younger generation. 

The Acer tablet offers good web browsing experience as it supports browsers like HTML, HTML5, XHTML and Flash. The device works in 3G speeds too. 

Acer Iconia Tab A110 runs on Quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor with 1200 MHz clock speed for fast and efficient processing assisted by a system memory of 1024 MB RAM. The 8000 MB inbuilt storage and 32 GB external storage by microSD, microSDHC slots look decent enough to support the multimedia capabilities of this tablet. 

Wireless data transfer is made possible by Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi capability. USB 2.0 facilitates standard data transfer facility. Micro HDMI helps the tablet to stream output to TV for big screen viewing. 

The Acer tablet also comes with some miscellaneous applications for helping users in their daily tasks like Calendar, Alarm, Calculator, Document viewer etc. Unlimited entries are supported in contacts memory, and messaging options are aided by Threaded view, and Predictive text input. The tablet has GPS facility too to round up the utility apps. Not many details are now available on the battery power and efficiency part. 

Acer Iconia Tab A110 will be entering the tablet market by July. The price details of the Acer tablet is not confirmed yet. It will arrive in a stylish appearance with a cool design and black frame.
