Asus has come up with a permanent fix for the issues related to GPS in the Transformer Prime tablet. The company offers an additional external USB based extension kit for GPS. This is in the form of a dongle that can be used with any of the Transformer devices.

The company has faced many issues with GPS functionality of the device since long. The software updates and the patches were not able to rectify the issue. To improve the GPS reception of the tablet, the company has taken the step of providing an external extension kit for GPS.

Asus has replied to the GPS issue that the extension kit will provide all the users with the required GPS functionality. Both the device and the extension kit are designed bearing in mind the design ans the aesthetics. It will definitely help the users to receive good GPS data and signal.

There is no warranty got for the extension kit and the company has stated clearly that it will not change any of the existing warranty conditions. These GPS kits will be shipped from this month. As of now there is no official announcement on this. Users having this issue can contact the customer care of Asus and get the extension kit for their Transformer Prime tablet.
