Leading hardware manufacturer Asus has launched its new VG23AH 3D IPS LED monitor. The price of the monitor starts at Rs 18,500. The latest monitor features a 173 degree lateral and vertical wide viewing angles. Asus SmartContrast ratio of the device stands at 80,000,00:1. Full HD visuals are delivered by Asus’s Splendid Video Intelligence Technology. 

The device also sports an ergonomic design which allows users to swivel, tilt and adjust the height of the monitor for a better viewing experience. There is minimal color shift while doing this. The monitor also incorporates All-in 3D Technology from Asus which facilitates instant 2D to 3D conversion. There is a designated hot key for activating 3D viewing. The hotkey allows users to access 6 preset video modes which include Game, Theatre, Night View, Scenery, Standard, etc. The monitor also comes along with built in 3W stereo speakers.

Asus VG23AH integrates Film type patterned 3D technology which has the capability to separate 3D images delivered to the right and left eye simultaneously. This delivers 3D images free of flicker. The device comes along with 3D glasses which do not require battery. The 3D glasses feature an exclusive design and are very comfortable to use. There are plenty of connectivity options in the monitor including single link DVI, dual HDMI 1.4 ports and D-sub. Compatibility with a lot of media devices is ensured with these ports.

Vinay Shetty, Country Head-Component Business at Asus India informed that the monitor delvers an enhanced cinematic 2D and 3D home theatre experience for its users. Colorful visuals in full HD 1080p will be effortlessly delivered by the monitor. The company is hopeful that this new monitor will manage to find its audience in the monitor crowded Indian market.
