Blackberry Playbook has a 7 inch TFT touch screen display that supports a 16M color and offers a 600 X 1024 pixel support. It shares some common features with that in the Samsung Galaxy display like a proximity sensor and multi touch input method. The memory in Samsung is 512 MB internal and also with a microSD card, it can be expanded to a 32 GB externally.

 

BlackBerry PlayBook comes with an optional memory of 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB and lacks an external memory slot. The camera here is a 5 Mega Pixel with features like autofocus and a good pixel quality of 2592 X 1944 pixels. While in Samsung Galaxy, the camera is a much reduced 3.5 Mega Pixel but offers features like an autofocus, geo tagging and even an LED flash. Secondary cameras are provided in the front of both the tablets, a 3 MP for BlackBerry and a 1.3 MP for Samsung enabling video conferences and calls with the devices. While Blackberry Playbook works with its own OS, it's an Android v2.2 Froyo in Samsung.

Blackberry PlayBook ranges in price in India from a RS 27,000 to RS 38,000 based on the selected configurations from the options available, while Samsung Galaxy Tabs will have a price in India around RS 23,990 in India.
