Google’s Android v 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is one of the most discussed android version ever launched. Ice Cream Sandwich reportedly features new and powerful communication and sharing features, easy multitasking and a cool user interface as well. Android powered tablet devices featuring Ice Cream Sandwich operating system have been announced by a few companies.
Among the first to present a tablet running in Android Ice Cream Sandwich, is Coby Electronics Corporation. They will be presenting the tablet in the month of January next year.
Coby’s Android ICS based tablets will come in several sizes, such as 7″, 8″, 9″, 9.7″, and 10″ tablets. The processor will be common in all these models, which sport a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU. The tablets obviously sport capacitive multi touchscreens. There will also be 1 GB RAM memory for each model.

Coby, reportedly, will exhibit 5 models of their ICS Internet tablets in a major event in Las Vegas, the coming January. With an extensive line-up of cool looking and delicately thin tablets powered by the v4.0 ICS Operating System, Coby offers its customers to choose from tablets of their favourite sizes and shapes, all having equivalent performance statistics, with common processors, common OS, and common internal memories specifications. The Coby tablet line-up in January will be with the following display sizes:

Android ICS powered Coby tablets also feature 1080p HDMI outs. Coby designed and built these tablets to efficiently and satisfyingly serve the purposes of web browsing, sharing, mailing, gaming and media entertainment. Price details of the tablets are still not disclosed. But there are reports that the price tags will be reasonable.
