Dell is busy rolling out new and updated laptop and desktop models with Ivy Bridge processor. The latest one being launched by Dell is the XPS One 27 desktop, a high end desktop for office use. Of course, this Dell machine is powered by Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors. Apart from good processing power from Quad Core Intel Core i5/i7 Processor, users can come across a friendly interface too as it runs on Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Operating system. Many are of the opinion that this model resembles Apple iMac device.
Quad HD LED Backlit Display of 27 inch is a pretty good display screen compared to similar models from Dell itself. Users can do multi-party video conferencing with integrated HD Webcam and a wide display screen with 2560×1440 pixels screen. This would make this a popular model especially among those users like professional photographers who work with extremely high quality high resolution images.
The graphics in this Dell AIO PC is powered by NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M Graphics which can stand good against any other comparative model in the market. Intel HD 4000 graphics comes inbuilt with the Ivy Bridge processors as well. Users have options for optical drives with DVD and Blu-ray too.
Users can enjoy a good audio experience in Dell XPS One 27 desktop with Integrated 7.1 Surround Sound system. You can wirelessly transfer your data with Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi capabilities too. It comes with options for connecting Gigabit Ethernet LAN as well. You can easily back up data on the system to other devices with 4 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 port options given on either side.
There is an option for HDMI connectivity too to stream content from desktop to a high definition TV. An 8-in-1 Memory card reader adds to its input capabilities. Storage features include 4GB of RAM which is upgradeable up to 16GB. You can choose among 1TB or 2TB Hard Disk Drive as well.
Dell XPS One 27 desktop can be purchased at a price of around Rs. 82,000/-. This new Dell system is expected to offer a stiff competition to the current leader HP’s Z1 Workstation for sure.
