Opening Links in a New Tab
You might have been using the new tab option to open links by clicking on the left mouse button and choosing the option to open in a new tab. While this is one way, the easiest way to open a link in a new tab using a mouse is to open it with the scrollwheel of the mouse. This will open the target link in a new tab and you will not lose the page you were on.
To close a tab using the mouse, you can click on the close symbol (x) with the left mouse button. You might have been using this method for quite some time. But, the other way to do it using your scrollwheel is to click on the tab that has to be closed with your mouse's scrollwheel.
Navigating Back and Forward
