Apple has already sent out invites to the entire tech media world for the October 23 with a tagline which says, "We've got a little more to show you." Consequently, the tech enthusiasts are anticipating that the Cupertino-giant will finally take the wraps of the much-awaited long rumoured iPad Mini.
Numerous reports in the past have talked about the specs, features and pricing of Apple’s next tablet. However, now a latest report has surface on the online tech media world which suggests that new iPad Mini will hit retail shelves and major online stores by November 2 this year.
According to Techcrunch, Apple is in talks with a major shipping logistics partner for making the device available for purchase before November 2 itself. Going by the rumors, the upcoming device from Apple is said to feature a screen display resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels similar to that of iPad 2. Which means developers will have to redesign their apps to work in the smaller screen of iPad Mini.
Reports have also claimed that Apple is launching iPad Mini now to coincide with the holiday shopping season in the international market. The device is getting launched before ‘Black Friday’ which is considered to be the biggest shopping days of the year in the US.
Analysts have already started predicting the sales figures for the new iPad Mini. One of the leading Research and Analysis Firm predicted 5 million sales of iPad Mini in the December quarter where as another firm, Evercore Partners expects Apple to sell 7 million units within the three month time period after its launch.
However, Apple on the other hand seems to be more optimistic with their sales forecast for their iPad Mini device. Recently, Wall Street Journal carried a report which suggested that Apple has already ordered for shipping 10 million iPad Minis in the fourth quarter of 2012.
