When most Laptop manufacturers aim their products at business people, students seem to have only a very few options for laptops that fit the trend and their style. At the CES this year, a lot of laptops were present in the exhibition, most of which attracted crowds.
Lenovo’s booth was pretty crowded as well. But Lenovo’s IdeaPad S200 didn’t get all the attention it deserved, as there were cooler Lenovo devices on the display. Still, Lenovo IdeaPad S200 is quite famous in its own rights, owing to the decent combination of style and fashion.
Considered to be one of the most stylish laptops, at present, Lenovo IdeaPad S200 is actually a great choice for students. IdeaPad S200 is pretty compact. It’s more of a mature version of a netbook, with its small but sleek 11.6 inch display. The hardware specifications aren’t disappointing as well.

The most disappointing fact about the Lenovo IdeaPad S200 is its low battery life. The standard 6 cell battery offers only about 4 hours of battery life. But other than this, everything is okay with the IdeaPad S200. It has a 32 GB SSD drive, which makes the system boot up pretty fast. Not all specifications are announced yet, but the laptop is pretty popular, even with this much specifications. It also features a powerful Intel Atom N2800 processor. The 2GB DDR3 RAM is a minor setback. But a student doesn’t need more.
Basically, IdeaPad S200 isn’t a high end laptop, but it is worth the money for students. It also comes in a variety of attractive colours to choose from. The 11.6 inch HD Widescreen display, isn’t something to be disappointed about. Even with the 1366 x 768 pixels screen resolution, you will love the display.
The 0.3 Megapixel HD Webcam isn’t bad, but it could have been a little better. The Lenovo IdeaPad S200 supports WiFi connectivity and also sports a fast and reliable Bluetooth connectivity option. The price details will be announced soon.
