Milagrow launches TabTop 7.4 at Rs 10,990
Milagrow is expanding its range of TapTop series of women centric tablets in India. The company has launched the TabTop 7.4 series of laptops with 4 GB and 16 GB models. This is claimed to be the slimmest 7 inch tablet in India. The device currently runs on the Android 4.0.3 ICS platform.
The tablet is equipped with a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and a dual Mali 400 MP graphics. The unit has a 4000 mAh battery that offers 11 hours of backup in normal usage. There is a 1.3 MP camera at the front. This has Face Detection, 6x digital zoom, instant focus and many other features.
The TabTop 7.4 sports a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 4:3. The display has Oleophobic coating that prevents the finger prints and scratches. The tablet is preloaded with Hindi and English keyboards. It has handwriting recognition, personal dictionary and auto spell check features on the keyboard.
It is the first TabTop to support 4G/3G and 2G connectivity through external dongles from several operators. It has an offline email client that is preinstalled for working on emails while offline. It lacks a rear camera like the other tablets of its price range. The device comes preloaded with about 55 apps of various genres.
The 4 GB version of the TabTop will be available for a price in India of Rs Rs 10,990 while the 8 GB version will cost Rs 13,990.
